Bonfire night
There will be no meetings tonight for any of our sections as it is bonfire night. Hope the weather holds out for anyone attending a display. Remember to keep warm and not play with fireworks.
I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to see you all after this slightly longer break than normal on Sunday for the Remembrance Parade.

Thursday 5 November – Fireworks at Rugby field at Felindre Road, Pencoed. Starts at 6.45pm. FREE. Display organised by Pencoed Town Council.
Thursday 5 November – Porthcawl Charity Bonfire at Salt Lake, 5pm – 11pm. FREE. Organised by Coney Beach and The Bonfire Committee.
Thursday 5 November – Fireworks at the Hi Tide Inn in Porthcawl. Starts at 7.30pm. FREE. Display organised by The Hi Tide Inn.
Thursday 5 November - Bonfire and fireworks at Maesteg Sports and Social Club. Starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3.50 for children and include a hotdog and soup. Ring the club for tickets on 01656 732044.
Friday 6 November – Fireworks at Heol Y Cyw playing fields. Starts at 6.30pm. FREE. Display organised by Coychurch Higher Community Council.
Saturday 7 November – Fireworks and fairground rides at Bryntirion Community Centre. Starts at 4.30pm with fireworks at 7pm. FREE fireworks display. Organised by Laleston Community Council.
Saturday 7 November - Lighting up the castle at Coity Castle. The Coity Village Association's annual fireworks display, starting at 6pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for children and are available from the village post office before the event or at the gate. Food will be available.
