New Year and new meeting times!

This year the Scouting organisation has revamped the badges, I mentioned this in an earlier blog. Much of this is for the better, however there is now far more to do to gain many of the badges. To help give Scouts, Cubs and Beavers at 1st Pencoed more of a chance we have altered some of our meeting times to allow us to spend more time with the pack.

The biggest change is to Scouts who not only will be starting at an earlier time of 7pm, giving Skip 2 1/2 hours with them, but will also be changing nights to accomodate this. Their new night starting on the 5th January will be a Tuesday.

Moving Scouts has consequently freed up time on a Thursday evening allowing us change the time that the Cubs finish. Tbis will now be 8.30pm. Akela will have to now control them for a whole two hours now

!!

Although the badgework has also changed for Beavers their meeting time will remain unchanged.

Revised meeting times:

From Tuesday 5th January 2016

Scouts 7pm - 9.30pm

From Thursday 7th January 2016

Beavers 5pm - 6.30pm

Cubs 6.30pm - 8.30pm
