Parents of cubs will have noticed that they came home with a piece of paper last night. Some of you might of heard what it was for, others might have been told by your child. For those, however, who are in the dark as to what it is for, let me explain.

In a months or so time a couple of our cubs will be taking part in the annual district Chatterbox tournament. To help prepare them and as part of the Personal Challenge Award for all we have chosen to do our own chatterbox. I know for some this will be quite easy, but others it will be more of a challenge. What they need to do is think of a subject that they know something about and are hopefully passionate about and talk to us about it for about 2 minutes. The piece of paper isn't really for them to write a speech on, but for them to make notes that will help them when they talk about their chosen subject.

Ideally they need to bring in their piece of paper next week.
